Amara

Amara is a new coach and a proud Montana native. She's been a part of the THRIVEcycle crew since 2025, holding down the Front Desk. Amara is a University of Providence graduate with a degree in Exercise Science and is currently working at Benefis Health System while advancing her career in medicine. Cycling was love at first sight and she can't wait to bring all the energy and passion to the podium!
What song will make you lose your mind on the podium?
“Where Have You Been” by Rihanna or any remix will have me levitating off the bike.
What are you bringing to THRIVE besides the workout?
I have a down-for-anything attitude, any song, any move, I will try it at least once!
What’s your post-class personality?
My post-class personality is full on “I can conquer the world” energy. I suddenly want to clean everything, rearrange my house, plan a trip, or plan the next year of my life.
What’s one thing members should know before taking your class?
WE will work. I want to get just as good of a workout as our members. We are doing long, fast sprints. It will be challenging but we are baddies and we will push through.
If your THRIVE class had a warning label, what would it say?
WARNING: may cause excessive sweating and lead you to question why you took this class halfway through...only to leave needing to book your next bike immediately.
What song are you willing to risk your job over?
Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (an absolute banger that always hits)!
What’s your “absolutely not” in class?
When people go rogue, doing their own personal choreo! We are a unit, we start and finish together.
Favorite post-class indulgence?
Anything CARB heavy. I’m talking pasta, pizza, french fries, a sandwich, BREAD literally anything to replenish me.
What’s your coaching red flag?
Watching you look down at your resistance knob, touch it, and pretend you actually turned it…I see you. I’m here to lovingly torture you into a new personal achievement.
